The Anti-Griddle flash freezing technique, originally inspired by Chef Grant Achatz, allows you to easily prepare appealing dual-texture creations and explore an entirely new culinary realm. The possibilities are truly endless.
Create frozen desserts and appetizers with cool, liquid centers
Combine flash frozen lollipops with a novel ingredient in place of traditional sticks. For example, a vanilla caramel ice cream lollipop on a rosemary sprig
Top salads with frozen vinaigrettes that melt on the plate when served
Adorn dishes with intricate frozen ornaments, easily transferred from the Anti-Griddle to the plate
Flash freeze tableside or at the buffet to provide guests with unique, personal and exciting dining experiences
The Anti-Griddle’s flat, ultra-cold work surface lends itself to three basic techniques
Freezing just the bottom surface of the item, leaving the top cool or at room temperature
Flipping the item over and freezing both the top and bottom, creating crunchy surfaces with a creamy centre
Freezing everything solid. Some chefs even use the Anti-Griddle to create layered dishes consisting of different foods, flavours, and textures
Anti Griddle Practical Tips
Prior to ‘firing up’ the Anti-Griddle, you might want to give the griddle surface a light coating of non-stick spray. Also, for best results, use thicker liquids and stronger flavours. Thicker liquids give you more control over the final shape and texture (frozen solid or creamy inside); stronger flavours compensate for the numbing effect of cold on the taste buds. How Long to my Item Arrives
In most cases items are shipped via courier and arrive within 2-5 business days after being sent if you are in Western Australia or a remote area it may taken an additional 1-2 days to arrive. All items are sent with tracking information which will be emailed you once the order has shipped. * Please note if you are having a item shipped to a P.O Box these will be sent via Australia Post and can take slightly longer then normal delivery estimates via a courier. ** Sous Vide Chef has no control over when a item is in transit in the unlikely event additional delays do occur Sous Vide Chef will work with you to resolve any issues.

As soon as you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation e-mail. This means that we have received your order in our system and pre-authorised your credit card for the purchase. As soon as we receive your order, we automatically reach out to our suppliers to confirm that it is in stock and available for immediate shipment. If your item is on backorder or unavailable, we will void the pre-authorisation and reach out to you via e-mail. If your item(s) are available for immediate shipment (within 2 business days), we will process the charges and submit the order for shipment.
Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive, if you notice any damage you should make note of it when signing for delivery. If your item(s) do arrived damaged, please send photos to email@example.com and we will process an insurance claim on your behalf.
Change of Mind:
Sous Vide Chef knows you'll love our products! we do understand that you may change your mind. In the unlikely event you wish to return the item the following conditions do apply:
You are responsible for all shipping charges including the return shipping and initial delivery charge even if you received free shipping.
The item must be unused, in the original packaging and in a resalable condition to be eligible for a return & refund. If it's determined that the items have been used or not in the original condition and not in a resalable condition the return & refund will be voided.
A re-stocking fee of 10% of the full purchase price may apply.
Cancellations & Refunds:
